[Visit] The Affiliated Zhongli Senior High School of National Central University Visits Cognitive Intelligence and Precision Healthcare Research Center

<Visit Date: July 3, 2024>

Based on the scientific foundations of cognitive neuroscience, intelligent applications in sports, long-term care, and exercise science have been developed. These applications can help prevent aging, enhance athletic performance, and even assist in treating psychological disorders such as depression.

During the visit, we guided students through three interactive experiences, aiming to broaden their horizons through new activities and stimuli, inspiring fresh perspectives for their future.

  1. Daily Brain Snack: A cognitive training app developed by our lab, designed to challenge students’ cognitive abilities. The game includes five categories of mini-games: attention, memory, mathematics, cognition, and language.
  2. Dart-Throwing Experiment: Students experienced motor control experiments by alternately throwing darts with their dominant and non-dominant hands, exploring cognitive-motor coordination and precision.
  3. Eye Tracker:The eye tracker allows high school students to experience visual and cognitive science firsthand, understand their gaze focus and visual pathways, explore attention distribution and concentration changes, and spark interest in fields such as psychology, neuroscience, and human factors engineering, broadening their learning horizons.
